Life/Home Groups

Cornerstone Group

A group of people living around central Auckland. Based on Ephesians 2:19-22, we are a family in Christ, building God’s house together with Jesus as the foundation.
We are a diverse group of couples, children and single adults intent on growing as disciples of Jesus. We meet fortnightly on Wednesdays in Remuera for a shared dinner, Bible study, prayer and fellowship.

A Temple for the Lord (NLT)
“19 So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. 20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. 21 We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. 22 Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.”

North Shore Life Group

A group supporting people living in the North Shore.
North Shore Life group started in Sep 2018 for two reasons: There was no life group(s) in North Shore. Secondly, Alpha attendees need support to grow spiritually and connect with one another for care, support & prayer.

North Shore Life group consists of single adults (young professionals) and families (with kids from 6 – 10 years old).

What do we do in life group: Worship, study the bible, discussion, sharing of testimonies, prayer & occasionally we have food fellowship & games, etc.

Westlife Group

A life group with families and couples that enjoys having nice food, sharing stories, studying the Bible and going out for day trips together.
We are a Life group that started in 2017 out of an Alpha course (a discovery course to find out more about Jesus and Christianity).

We are mostly families with a good mix of ethnicity/background, based in West Auckland. We are very easy going and we meet for Bible study/friendship/dinner, on Friday nights from 7.15-9pm.

You are welcome to join us! (We are at the moment meeting online) Feel free to send a message or call me (Tony) and I can help you connect to the group!

We also hang out and go for a day trip every now and then! That’s another good opportunity to get to know us!

We have quite a few kids in the group so if you have kids, they will have friends to hang out with too.

Men’s breakfast

Study Topic: The Measure of a Man by Gene Getz

We all want to be more like Jesus. We are made in His image and we too can grow in maturity to become more like Jesus and reflect His beautiful character. Scripture tells us about ‘putting off the old self ‘and ‘putting on the new self’. It’s a process and we can never do that by ourselves. Progress in our character can be a struggle, yet it is so important as character underlies everything about our lives; in the joy of relationships, as husbands, in parenting, serving roles and work. To progress we need to be involved in strong relationships of love and accountability. As we journey together we will look at practical teaching in Paul’s pastoral letters to Timothy and Titus and discussion.

Join this journey together with other brothers in Christ, making time for fellowship over breakfast, good discussions, and learning and growing together.

NOTE: Registration is required. Email
Registration required 1 week before. Numbers needed for catering.

Wednesday Bible Study

For the first half of the year we will explore stories of family conflicts in Genesis, and reflect on how they speak to struggles in our lives. In the second half of the year we will probably focus on another area of the Old Testament.
